□ The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Minister Park Sang-woo) will hold an information session on the Gadeokdo New Airport site development project for the private construction industry in Seoul on the afternoon of April 11.
ㅇ This briefing session was prepared to inform companies wishing to participate in site development work on the main contents of the bidding guide* confirmed by the Central Construction Technology Deliberation Committee (March 21) and the future ordering schedule.
* (Bidding Guide) A document that guides bidders to the standards for bidding, contracts, etc. for the relevant construction, as well as qualification screening, selection of successful bidders, evaluation, and point deduction criteria, etc.

ㅇ In addition, we plan to explain specific plans for applying BIM* in all stages of design-construction-maintenance, which are being prepared to create Gadeokdo New Airport as a “safe smart airport,” and the need to introduce smart construction equipment.
 * BIM (Building Information Modeling): A 3D model that includes construction information such as materials and specifications, a technology that integrates and manages digitized information throughout all stages of construction.
